A timber frame house nestled along one of the trunk roads leading into Kuala Pilah, Negri Sembilan. It speaks of joyous explorations with machine and hand, a Malaysian Art Nouveau in its own right. The owner of the place clearly went about his own path in this forested valley of the Minangkabau.

This house is actually on the outskirts of the royal town, Sri Menanti, on a corner surrounded by neglected fruit orchards and greenery. The owner is an essentric but brilliant royal whose claim to fame is the fact that her designed and built a motorcycle using the engine from a Honda (car)
