PARLIAMENTARY SERVICES ACT 1963......2025

In 1992, the Mahathir Government repealed the Parliamentary Services Act (PSA) 1963, securing a complete and direct control of civil servants serving Parliament.

Reviving the PSA has been a call by reformist MPs civil society activists and experts for recent years.

Today (24 Feb), the Madani government finally tables its draft PSA for the first reading.
