UPDATE:

There's been a change of speakers. al-Mustaqeem and Goh Keat Peng regretfully cannot attend the KL Roadshow. Instead, lawyer Jahaberdeen Mohd Yunoos and Pastor Sivin Kit will take their slots in the key message Human Beings, Born Free and Equal.

Here's a further teaser for Saturday's KL Roadshow:

Remember to register. Details in graphics above.

ORIGINAL POSTING:

Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia will be taking its second Roadshow and Forum to the Klang Valley. This comes at a time when the nation needs to be reminded most about the Malaysian Project.

We have cruised into uncharted territory, into a demented landscape where firebombs take precedence over matured dialogue. We have to stand and take that test.

Based on five key messages, the half-day forum will lay bare the basis of this nation and its people. It will delve into the founding of this country, recognise our other Merdeka fighters, and provide clues about why we are the way we are - divided.

We will check with biting facts if our nation has been on the right track or are we a nation in distress.

We will ask why, of course. Here, mirrors may be of help.

We will talk about power and control. Not at the ethers of political office, but at the commons where you and I dwell. We will talk about Rakyat.

Mostly, we'll talk about Malaysia, moreso the dire need to now walk.

And why you just have to - first and foremost - believe.

NOTE:

Details are in the banner above. You will need to register to attend this event.

Seems as if when God is 'attacked' finally, BELIEF, does not appear to be appropriate or sufficient.

We need to have the strength and the endurance to put up with the many obstacles to national unity that are coming our way.

Maybe, from now on each day of our lives has to be relished. How do we do it, in a climate of peoples who I believed were so alike and suddenly I come to the realization that we are not. Because, the greatest unifying factor...ie God...is being chopped up and threats are being used to stop my worship of Him the way I want to.

It seems as if I have to ask His protection each time I step out of my home feeling insecure, feeling whether my smile will carry weight, feeling whether my parents' teaching to not mind the details of my existence here in this country, but carry on, has really been correct.

Whether I ought to have been aware that I was sitting on a time bomb, all the while. But the fact was, I did not think so. I thought that the world was one big wonderful place and Malaysia was the best spot in all of this space because God had endowed it in a very special way.

Anyway, I am prepared to try again....I am prepared to force forget the attack on the person I most admired and gained strength from...God and I am going to smile at everyone I meet.

People say that the situation can improve, the explosive situation which has brought fear into our hearts...how do we get over what we know and regain our freedom to be spontaneous once again, with our neighbour, regardless of race and creed.

SABM thank you for always being a beacon in the face of things that seem well nigh impossible. You give us the courage to walk tall and to say that every try is worth it, every gesture we make today, can bear results.

Tomorrow, tomorrow...there'll be a tomorrow, tomorrow's only a day away!

Haris and team.....you are doing a great job...no one else could have done it better! I wish you enormous success for your roadshow. I hope and pray that you, SABM, will light the way for all Malaysians to walk tall and free themselves from the present known...The God of all creatures great and small...bless your efforts.

I learned this as a little girl..and often repeated it. Everyone knows it...

"All things bright and beautiful
All creatures, great and small
All things wise and wonderful
The ONE LORD GOD made them ALL"...re-dedicated with affection, to SABM.

Kenapa?Kerana mereka masih tebal dgn ciri-ciri genetiknya, tetapi pd masa yg sama meminta kesamaan dan kesatuan.sedar tak sedar, golongan inilah yg menggagalkan cita-cita 1 malaysia @ apa sahaja gagasan yg dibuat baik dr pihak kerajaan, pakatan @ NGO.

"Matured dialogue" should be "mature dialogue". We speak of a mature person, but matured tapai in the tajau! Just a point of English.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
