A timber frame house nestled along one of the trunk roads leading into Kuala Pilah, Negri Sembilan. It speaks of joyous explorations with machine and hand, a Malaysian Art Nouveau in its own right. The owner of the place clearly went about his own path in this forested valley of the Minangkabau. More on the early 20th century Eurpoean Art Nouveau movement here.
