Deep inside the weblog of Zorro-Unmasked, lodged somewhere between entries on Man U, by-elections, Hantus and fart chambers, the Malaysian police are peering at a particular posting that may be deemed seditious.

 

Now, by conventional wisdom, sedition would refer to clear and present situations which are potentially explosive to the country. Blogger Bernard Khoo is being investigated for content in Zorro-Unmasked blog that was supposedly entered way back in 2008.

The Saya Anak Bangsa Malaysia core group held a dialogue session with political parties on Saturday. Altogether, 22 parties throughout the country were invited including all from the Barisan Nasional coalition and Pakatan Rakyat. Invitations were sent beginning October by courier, fax and email.

We think Melaka's a real neat place. It has that bit of history no Malaysian town can lay claim and the tourism statistics are pretty remarkable. A Bernama report quotes: "In 2004, 4.0 million tourists visited Melaka followed by 4.7 million a year later. In 2006 the number went up to 5.1 million visitors followed by 6.1 million (2007) and 7.2 million in 2008. The target is 8.0 million for this year."
