It has been 4 long years since anyone has seen or heard from Raymond Koh. Though there were promises of help from the Malaysian authorities to look into this crime that occurred in broad day light, this case remains unsolved to this day: Raymond's whereabouts remains unknown.
After conducting the Public Inquiry into the Disappearance of Pastor Raymond Koh, the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) panel delivered its Final Decision on 3 April 2019, stating amongst others, that
"...the Panel is of the unanimous view that Pastor Raymond Koh is a victim of an enforced disappearance as defined in Article 2 of ICPPED that took place on 13 February 2017 at about 10:45 a.m."
"The direct and circumstantial evidence in Pastor Raymond Koh's case proves, on a balance of probabilities, that he was abducted by State agents namely, the Special Branch, Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur."
The abductions of Raymond Koh, Amri Che Mat, Joshua Hilmy & Ruth Sitepu are disconcerting, unresolved crimes that calls for action and justice.
We would like to invite you to join us online as we remember Raymond Koh and discuss the current situation as well as our hopes and the way forward.
